I have recently picked up a 1979 searay i believe is a srv190 closed bow. I got it with the motor out and was told it just needs to be put in. So i went to put it in today and the motor mount holes at the transom dont line up. The holes on the motor are about 10 inches apart and on the transom its 15 inches. Also the drive shaft doesnt seem like it id going to make it inside the motor. I can get pics if anyone could help me. I was told that this motor was pulled from this boat (mercruiser 470) is that a stock motor for this year?
