1979 mercury 90 hp has no spark

My 1979 mercury 90 hp 6cyl has no spark. I replaced the stator, trigger and cdi boxes as well as the wiring harness but still no spark. What's wrong?

Disconnect the ign killer wire at the switchboxes. On that motor, the ign killer wire is orange, salmon or perhaps black/yellow. The color kind of depends on what the replacement wiring harness has.
