I purchased recently a 79 40 merc, the motor did not come on my starcraft jet which was set up for cable pulley steering. I am installing a teleflex steering system in the next 2 weeks but i need to know the part number for the steering arm for my motor. The motor did not come with 1. The motor does have a tilt tube, but it looks like the motor has an extra bracket i belive it was set up for cable pulley system as well. So if anyone can help me out with which steering arm goes to my motor it would help a lot!!
