Hi everyone. I bought a boat from CBGale2 and splashed it yesterday. It is a 79' starcraft holiday that is a restore project. The engine fired with little issue. Once warm Starts very fast and runs good. Though at idle it has a bit of a miss? I figure a can of seafoam might be in order and run it again. The engine has sat for a while. I did all of the pre start inspection lube etc. is there anything I need to know about this year of Johnson outboards? I also plan on installing a temp sensor with gauge or buzzer. Is this a must have with these outboards?

My other project is installing the TNT wiring. TNT is on the motor and works. I just need to wire the remote switch and the control handle switch. Here is what I have to work with.

And the other 2 pieces of harness

I found a wiring diagram that I think I may understand. But I see more wires than the diagram shows. Maybe the extra wires are for TNT gauge? idk. Anyone have some ideas? Thanks:)
