1979 johnson 50 hp no fire from plugs

motor has sat for 2 years tried too start but no fire coming from plugs at all what is the first step in troubleshooting the problem

Hello, BBoy.<br /><br />Welcome to the board.<br /><br />Step one is always: Get a repair manual. There are aftermarket manuals available at the Repair Manuals link at the bottom of the page.<br /><br />Once you have that I suggest checking your kill switch circuit.<br /><br />Good luck.
