1979 Johnson 100hp carb adjustments

Wondering if anyone knows the specs for the float adjustments for the carbs on a 1979 Johnson 100 hp?

Turn the carb up-side down.---Float should be parallel with carburetor.---Crude but never failed to work for me.

Perfect, is there a spec for float drop? Holding the carb right side up and letting the float hang, how far should it hang and does it really matter?

In 50 years I have never looked at " float drop "----Do not overthink these simple / easy to inspect / easy to maintain / very reliable carburetors !!!

Perfect! Thanks a lot. I’ll pull them off today and set them parallel with carb and see how she does.
