1979 evinrude trim/tilt problem

i have 1979 85hp evinrude trying to take off trim/tilt assembly got all bolts and pins out moves around but can't get it out. do i need to take motor off to get the trim/tilt assembly out.

Sometimes it will help to loosen the stern mounting brackets and do a little prying. Also the tilt tube nuts.
