1979 carver mariner 33

I have a 1979 carver mariner with twin 350 cruisders they start and run fine but when shut off and try to restart the starboard side will drag and then nothing like the battery is dead could it be a bad battery and if so how can i tell which one also the volt meter shows 15 volt when running

you need to check all your battery cables and make sure they are clean and tight, and I don't mean tight with wingnuts, take them off, throw them away and use regular nuts and a wrench. Also, check your timing.

Ayuh,... Even more important than the battery cabes on the battery,..
The Other ends of those cables, as well as All of the wiring Ends...
Just "Lookin'" ain't good enough either,..
Remove, sand, clean to shiney metal, then reinstall, 'n grease 'em...

Almost sounds like a Bad Ground...

Will do like i said it starts and runs fine never had any issues when running just turning over when trying to restart
