I just swapped the 115 with the 90hp I had spark to start with and I repaired some wires now I have no spark 1st thought I messed up repairing wires. I used my manual and traced all the wiring I messed with using my meter. all seems good excep I ohm the 2 leads of the rectifier to ground and they show a direct short these are the non + leads I remove the rectifier from the frame and I no longer have a short but still no spark. I used the 115 as a reference it's retifier is different but works same. I still have to do the control box check out but is there something easy I am overlooking? I also had to swap the starter sol. looked identical.
