1979 9.9 johnson exhaust baffle

While taking off the lower unit in order to change the impeller on the water pump, the exhaust baffle fell out. I did not see where it fell from. Can somebody please tell me where it goes so I can put it back?

Parts breakdown shows the exhaust baffle slides in upward at the rear. Pic?

There's a slot in the rear of the lower exhaust housing. Lower unit holds it in. Look up a parts break down.
