This is kind of an extension to my previous post. If this engine does require work, is it worth it to put the money into it, or should I save my money and buy something new or newer? I am fairly mechanical, but have no experience with boat motors. The motor sure sounds strong, it just doesn't seem to want to catch, it just cranks over and over and over until the battery dies. Like I asked before, could bad plugs cause this problem?
