Looks like a 16-foot Super Sport. Good small-water boats. The one I had ('76) was a bit of a kidney cruncher on rough water...

I'm in the process of purchasing the same boat but it's a 1982 with an 1983 75hp Evinrude. It's gutted with no windshield or seats but the floors are already cut to size for installation and new carpeting is in the package included. Have you used it yet and if so how is the ride with a few adults onboard. I'm buying it to upgrade from a 14 open Starcraft electric. I mostly used it for the the local reservoir but want a bigger towable for some vacation camping fishing and recreation with the family and friends out of state.

if you asking me if i've use mine, you bet. all last year for fishing almost every w/e from ice out to deer season.bass fishing, bowfishing and sunbathing/tubing, i have had 4 adults on her with no noticable problems, although i typically run with myself and maybe one other person.shes alittle hard on the kidneys in big water. i totally gutted mine and left the pilots console only,no windshield. built up the front casting deck with storage underneath where the wraparound seats used to be and built a full length rod locker/casting deck along the port side front to back. :)

Hey Kev,
I'm doing the same thing with a 21' SuperSport. Where can I see some pictures of yours?

Nice boat, yes it is a 16' SuperSport. Nice boat! I absolutely love mine. Use it on Lake Erie. The 70hp moves it out pretty well. Agree that these older boats do pound you some in real chop, but these narrow 16 footers are such great fishing boats. Gets you in everywhere, great on gas, comfortable for 4. I use it on Lake Ontario as well. I'm not going 5 miles out salmon or steelhead fishing, but for the fishing it is capable of, it does a great job.
