1978 Starcraft 16' SS restoration rub rails

[RP Boat project]

I just gutted my Starcraft to start my rebuild. The previous owner hit something on the port side Bow. Which damaged the Rub Rail & Channel. Theres a chuck of rub rail missing. I found replacement rub rail @ Wefco #0101 G.
My issue is the Aluminum Channel it runs through is pretty banged up as well. My plan was to polish this Aluminum channel the rub rail is in. Im not sure I can straighten this piece good enough to polish.
Anyone know where to get these

Only source I'm aware of is a derelict boat to salvage a piece of rubrail.

Otherwise get something similar and replace it all...
