1978 omc stringer 140 missing flush part need advise

I recently purchased a 1978 Glastron ssv 177 with the 0mc 3.0 140 it’s missing something that screws in, but has the cap in the glove box I see a two-sided piece like to join to garden hoses what part do I need send image if possible 4026162927 Rob

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... Where it screws in should be pipe threads, so adapt from that size to a garden hose fitting,...
Any better hardware store ought have what you need,....
