1978 mercruiser 165hp 6cyl

I am installing a power steering system . My question is does this take a different transom plate to install the power steering cylinder. I cannot figure out where it bolts to.

Same plate....<br />Bolts in place of the steering cable holder(big square alu. block with the alu. tube through it)
