Hi new here sorry first post is about a problem. I have just purchased a boat which came with what i believe is a 1978 merc200.
I have been trying to start it with no luck its turning but not firing up. Looked at various things but still couldnt get it going, so I looked at the control box on the boat and have found what seems to be a socket for a kill switch.
Its on the opposite side to the key, round black rubber with 3 slots in it. I opened the control box up and it had 3 wires (brown), (White & (Yellow), however these had been cut and just loose in the control box.
Could this be what my problem is?
