After I start my motor and get underway, the motor bogs down for several seconds and then "kicks in" and runs normal. Sometimes it is longer than other times before it "catches." It feels like an electrical problem rather than a fuel problem. After the engine is warm it runs fine. Any ideas?

Don Marsh
Woolwich, Maine

Have you tried firming up the primer bulb when this happens?
Have you changed plugs lately?

dmarsh,
Do you have an electric choke? When you open up the throttle and it starts to bog down on you. Hold the choke until it almost quits then try giving it more throttle. It does sound like the choke is sticking.
Deuce
