First off, i am new to boat engines. I just bought this boat in march of this year. The engine fired up and ran fantastic on 3 different occasions and then randomly it just completely quit running. I try and start it and it backfires sometimes. My neightbor came over to look at it and we could only get a spark out of cylinder 3 and 5. Any ideas on this? Before i take it to a shop and spend a ton of money on an old engine, i would like to try and solve the issue on my own if possible. Thanks in advance.
