I bought this beast back in June 09. Right after I bought it I had it on the lake running great? Then the trigger or stator burned up the switch box. I had all that repaired (new stator, new switch box, new trigger, new starter and a carb job). Then I made a mistake (http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=453657&page=1) which I fixed. I went to take the boat out last week and while it starts and idles it dies as soon as I try to put it in gear. I have to mess with the idle lever and the shift lever to get it going at all and then it just putts along. The motor runs great as long as I don?t put it in gear. Pretty sure it needs a link and sync. My question is did I cause this when I burned up the switch box or is this a result of all the work I had done? I don't see on the repair ticket that a link and sync was done.
