This motor is only firing on the 2 starboard cylinders. A little history. I just reterminated the battery cables and bought a new battery because the motor was not cranking hard enough to start the motor. With the new battery the motor fired right up but it sounded rough. I checked the port cylinders and they are not firing. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Check that you are getting fire at those two cylinders. Check your plugs, coils and wires good. I had a wire that looked great and I happened to pull on it and it fell apart with rust. If your plugs wires and coils are good, check your power pack.

An easy way to check the coils is to swap them with the ones from the other side. If you have the same issue then you know that the coils are not the problem.

Thoroughly rebuild and clean all the carbs! Check all fuel lines and the link and sink.
