1977 85 HP Evinrude Tell-Tail (Pee Hole)

I put water mufflers on my 85 hp and I see water coming out the Pee Hole about 1/8 inch in dia. I put my hand on the engine next to the sparkplugs and the engine is cool after running about 3-5 minutes. Is the 1/8 in water spout ok or should it be larger? Would the stream be affected by the water muffs? Should I run a wire down the "Pee Hole" or does it appear to be okay?
