1977 55hp chrysler magII outboard

hello; i have 1977 55hp chrysler model#559BH i need an ignition module part#S474301-1. it is not firing on one cylinder and found most other ignition parts. motor has 150psi in each cylinder so is worth looking around for parts. would appreciate any help. thanks

Google CDI Electronics. They show the module as a repair item.

Sorry to say but CDI has disconntiued this part as a R&R.
I have a 65Hp 1978 really nice machine with good compresseion but bad module. I have search for the module but no luck yet.

thanks gentlemen, i did contact cdi and its true, they no longer repair this module. for the fellow with 65hp chrysler, go to FranzMarine@aol.com they have a kit for changing out old ignition components---flywheel- starter regulator and harness for a 55hp chrysler which has the same part# as 65hp chrysler module 600-plus dollars for that kit.

Yes g.bamford I have contact Franz at Franze Marine but I think 600 dollar is to much to put in that machine and I also live in Sweden, Europe and shipping will probably be another 100-150 dollars.

why not rip out the magnapower and convert to a battery ignition system, if you need help Nordin drop me a PM with your email address and i'll talk you through it.
