1977 25 hp evinrude

Won't start unless choked, won't stay running when you ease off the choke???? Just cleaned and rebuilt carb. ( 1st. time) Whatcha think guys? Did I screw up tha carb?

Did you pop out the silver welch plugs on the carb and clean out the idle circuit holes under it? If not that is likely your problem.
