All 4 cylinders show good 7/16 gap spark but, #4 spark does miss some . I tested also with a simple light from powerpack #' 10, 11, 3, and 5. --- shows a dim light on my test light cranking the engine with good batt and plugs out.

Question is can I check voltage out of the powerpack 3 5 10 and 11 to see if voltage out of the pack is relatively the same for each cylinder? Also can you confirm it is AC voltage at this point?

seems I read somewhere maybe around 130 volts?

Thanks so much, Charlie

Thanks Fatz, The manual only shows the test with the neon light tool and I didnt have that tool . The manual also does not show the voltage coming from the pack to the coil. I will order a dva from ebay. What voltage should the pack supply to the coil? Is there a number for that?

Thanks for your help...

I'll look now and see if Iboats sells them also.
Thanks...

If you have 7/16" spark on the other cylinders, it is very unlikely there is anything wrong with the powerpack. Everything in there is active feeding any of the cylinders, except the SCR for the particular cylinder in question. And the SCR is either good or bad. Like a light bulb, it doesn't "sort-of" burn out.

Actual output voltage varies with cranking RPM. A couple hundred volts, more or less (DC pulses)
