I'm on the lookout for a small fishing boat to take out and fish with. Found what looks like a halfway decent boat but it has a 76 Mercury 20hp long shaft motor. I dont have a ton of experience with boats yet. Just looking for opinions l. Am I asking for problems witha motor this old? I know a lot depends on the maintenance but generally how are these motors? Are parts readily available or am I going to be paying out the nose on ebay buying used if some minor part breaks?
