Does anyone know of a brand of hose that is available that would have the same style end fittings that the OEM hoses have. Most of the internal fuel lines to and from the fuel pumps are obsolete and no longer available. The OEM fittings were stamped "imperial flex", which apparently are no longer manufactured. Some can be replaced with alternate fittings and hose clamps, but the upper carb. connection won't facilitate that.

Re: 1976 Mercury 1150 fuel lines

I thought all of the 1976 Merc should have plain fuel lines and brass nipples, however, there was a serial goup with the older style fuel lines, with the brass ends on the fuel lines. Can you replace the brass ends with brass male nipples, that screw into the carbs and fuel pumps? If so, you can then use standard fuel line and hose clamps, like the newer Mercs..

I would recommend 3/8" fuel line, although orig equipment was 5/16" fuel lines.
