i am lookin for any info and help anyone can give me, i have a 1985 sportcraft adventurer total weight around 1300lbs. it is currently settin on a 1976 holscaw trailer, by the looks of the boat bottom and 2nd trailer roller in is smashed i would say that it isnt set up right, i currently have the boat slightly raised off the trailer so i can try to straighten the rollers and change the bad one out, my question and concerns are, 1 should my boat be mostly weighted on the keel rollers or the bunk rollers, 2. the 2 rollers at the back of the trailer should they alway be touchin the boat or are they there to get the boat up on the trailer and lastly, is there away to convert the long bar rollers on the sides of the trailer to something like a load rite i think it is, where there is big black rollers on there, these rollers on the trailor or like little rubber rollers and i dont think i can replace them, but i dont know, thanks again for all the help

blake

Blako66,
Too bad no one got back to you sooner. 1) You'll want your boats weight set firmly on the keel but it should also be spread equally amongst all your other rollers as much as possible. You want to spread the weight out to as many rollers as possible to avoid extreme pressure points that might deform your hull. 2) Your rollers at the rear of the boat should adjusted so they support the boat once it is fully pulled on the trailer. 3) I'm not sure what you are talking about here. You should be able to replace the rollers with another brand even though Holscaw is out of business. Good luck!
