1976 evinrude 40 hp tiller conversion (please help)

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give me information on how to convert a 1976 evinrude 40 hp (40654A) that is setup for a pulley steer to a tiller. It does have a tiller mount option on it, but I was wondering what the process would be to do that and where I could find the parts to do it. Any help or adive would be greatly appreciated!
