1976 Evinrude 25 horse starter solenoid help

First off, I want to say that this is a great site. It's been an absolute essential part before I've started any project on my boat and the mass of knowledge centered here is one of the best I've ever seen.

Now, on to my question. I have a 1976 Evinrude 25hp (model# 25602E) that I purchased for a fairly reasonable price. I'm working on converting it from a remote motor to a tiller and everything has gone pretty well except one small issue: There was no starter solenoid that came with the motor, and I have since ordered the replacement and am familiar with the wiring of such, but I can't seem to find anywhere under the cowl to mount it. Does such a thing exist, or is it meant to be mounted in a remote location?

Any help/pictures would be absolutely great!

That motor model is a rope start. I assume you are converting it to electric start? Go to http://shop.evinrude.com/ It will show the hardware that you are missing.
