Remove spark plugs... disconnect the large main electrical plug at the engine... crank engine by jumping starter solenoid and observe the spark.
If you now have spark with that electrical plug disconnected but none with it connected, replace the ignition switch.
If still no spark, the cause is usually a blown powerpack.
