I just got this motor today and I have a few questions. I currently have a 9 1/2 x 10 prop on it. Was wondering what the top speed prop is?

As stated-GPS test. Phone?

Also, these are helpful. https://www.tinytach.com/tinytach

If you have an automotive inductive diagnostic tach, you can use that. You just have to divide the reading in half as a two stroke fires twice as fast as a four stroke.

according to marine engine theres several props that can be used. I see a 9 1\4 X 8, a 10 x 5, and a 9x 10. the prop thats on it is 9 1/2 x 10. Whats supposed to be on it?

what came with the motor is informative but...generic you should still install what is optimum and needed for your application anything else is a compromise

The 9.9 and 15 HP motors left the factory / were shipped with the 10" pitch prop.
