Does any body know where or how to find the reccomended WOT for a 1975 Merc 115hp?

actually the wot rpm on a 75 115 merc is 4800-5300

That is what the manual says, (so Bullbat is correct). That said: if the engine is in good shape it will turn 6,000 with no problem, (don't run it there all day).

In fact you should prop it for 5500-6000 with a very light load @ WOT so it runs properly with the loads you plan to run in the boat.

This assumes the engine is in GOOD corndition (as I already said).

The inline6s luv ta run @ 4,000 n' cruise n' cruise n' cruise.

Agreed.

I was just passing on what the big guns have said about getting an inline 6 properly set up with the correct prop.

I also don't think a person should run them at 6,000 RPMs as I suggested a 4,000 RPM cruise.
