1975 johnson 40 horse prop help

the prop on the motor is a 10 1/2 by 13 i hit a rock and need to change it i have several that fit the shaft or the hub on the prop is the same as the one thats on the motor 3 of the props seem to match what i have but i cant reed the pitch on them one that i can read says j 9 b calimbine its fits the motor but the blades are much wider should i use any of these or go by a new one thanks for any help mike

depending on the sevearity of the damage to your old prop they can be repaired. i would have that one checked to see if it can be repaired. any marina should be able to tell you if it is worth fixing. until then i don't think you could hurt anything by using another prop that fits the shaft as long as it has clearance to avoid contacting your cavitation plate or anything else that is down there.
