1975 Evinrude 6 HP. catburetor fuel inlet nipple

Decided to change all fuel lines on this motor.
While removing the fuel line from fuel pump to carb, the carb inlet nipple came out of the carb body.

Can I just push it back in with some sort of gasket sealer or do I really have a larger problem now?

A drop of Loctite Threadlocker on it before pushing it back in should fix it.
