1975 Aristocraft Nineteen

Hi there , this boat has a 3.0L Mercruiser 140hp.
Looking for a manual . Also , I bought the boat with no starter . I installed a starter, just not sure if wiring is correct . There is also a purple/blue wire hanging , not sure where it hooks up to . Also what kind of outdrive do these have ? Alpha 1 or what ?

Attached us a more modern 3.0 Ignore the ignition stuff because you will have points.

i think your starter isnt wired correct because big battery cable always goes directly to big starter lug. Not sure what the purple blue is for looks newer than other wires assume it was added whats the other end go to?

Original drive would have been a mc1 , but post pics of whats there and we can tell you. The mc1 drive is bolt on interchangeable with the later R/MR/Alpha one gen one drives.

Ok , once it stops raining here I will get more pics . I didn’t think the starter was wired properly either. I had nothing to go buy .
