1974 starcraft 12'

Hello all, I just bought a 1974 12' Starcraft. very good condition, other then a leak in the forward part of the boat were the 2 seams overlap at the bottom of the boat. anyone else have this issue? would gflex fix this type of leak. I filled the inside of the boat in that location and a slow drip at the seam . see pics...thanks

Once saw a video on gflex, looked like it worked great on fiberglass. Don't know how it would work on alum. Most here use Gluvit to seal up a tinny.
