I recently purchased a 1974 sears 9.9hp and at first it ran great until I noticed that no water was coming out of the tell tale at full speed but at lower speeds water comes out with no problem. So thinking it was the water impeller I ordered one from sears($50) and i took the lower unit off and and took out the old impeller and it didnt look that bad, looked almost new, but i put the new one in it and put it back together and ran the motor in water and it seems worse than before. Now there is no water coming out. So i took it apart and put it back together again like 10 times thinking its fixed but its not so now here I am. I just cant figure it out. Can anyone can please help?
