1974 Searay small hydro starter

Im new here, so please bear with me. I just purchased a small 8-10 ft early 70,s searay hydro inboard. I belive it has a 25 horse motor. It appears the starter is missing. Any advise? Can it be started manualy somhow? I know almost nothing about these - It looks like a fun little boat if I could get it going. If I do come across the starter - could it be rebuilt for a reasonable cost?<br />Thank you.

If it's an inboard it probably belongs in another forum, even though it is possible that it uses an OMC 2 stroke powerhead.<br /><br />You need to give us more info and maybe a photo of the engine.<br /><br />Meanwhile I will move this to the inboard forum.<br /><br />Good luck, and welcome to iboats.
