We got this 1974 Lund Tr-Hull last year and are just finishing it up. It has a Mercruiser 120 4 cylinder. I am wondering if anyone can tell me the model of this boat. I have searched and haven't come up with anything... Thanks!
I did some more research and found out this is a Shell Star. I have found some pictures of these but they were all outboards... Hmm, maybe a bit rare...
It was in really nice shape. My father-in-law did a lot of work to it last year when he bought it. New Decking, carpet, seats, some engine work. It runs like a champ and has more power than I was expecting. It's nice to have something a little different than all the white Bayliners on the lake
I realize your original post is a few years old... I have the same boat. You can find the original brochure at http://www.lundboats.com/pdfs/old-catalogs/1974.pdf The hull was made by Shell Lake Boats but I can't find much history either. I get great comments from other boat owners on the lake. These beauties are one of a kind.
