i have no spark to the engine and when i hooked my digital meter to the leads on the coil it beeped like it was infinity.my meter is old and dont work that well,i have a needle meter what setting should it be on and what should it read for resistance.someone told me it was the powerpack that is bad but im worried that the coil is what ruined it with that reading.

Between + and - Rx1 .01-.02
Between coil tower and either + and - coil terminal Rx1000 NO continuity.
Between coil tower and engine ground Rx100 57-73 ohms.

I would suspect the trigger or power pack rather than the coil. They seem to wear out quicker.

TMD
