I got my boat out the other day to try and get it running after sitting for about 2 years or more. It will start and run at a high speed, but it wonty idle. I have clean the carb and the float bowl. I can only see one adjustment screw, and it connects to a knob that say "lean and rich". Any ideas about what could keep it from running?

Thanks alot

Hey Crappie_Fan,
When you cleaned the carb, did you take it apart & soak the parts in carb cleaner? It sounds to me like you've still got some crud blocking the idle circuit passages. I'd also check the fuel pump diaphram. In fact, after sitting for that long, you should check the entire fuel system from tank to carb. Good luck. :)
Backlash

Thanks for for replying. It was the idle fuel passage like you said. I took a air hose and compressor and blew it out. Thanks again i appreciate it.
