1974-1976 Merc 7.5Hp

So I picked up this Merc today on trade. I haven't had a chance to run it yet, I need to get a fuel connector, line, and fuel tank. My old motor was integrated. Those of you who do have had/used one, what are the main things I need to look at, watch for, change, etc...

These motors have a carbon steel drive shaft (not stainless) . . . look for pits around the bottom portion of the shaft where the impeller is located. The top oil seal is right below that water pump and pits in the shaft can cause gear case oil leakage.
