Tried starting my Sears / Ted Williams (217.58880) motor today and had gasoline squirting out of an orifice in the hex nut / valve just aft of the choke mechanism (not the choke plunger, but the actual mechanism that is attached to [via linkage through] the case and causes the carb butterfly valve to open/close) when I primed it via the prime bulb in the fuel line. Anyone ever have this happen? Am I "over-priming" it?
Also want to verify a figure someone posted in another forum...spark plug gap for this motor...it was listed as .35; I'm assuming that was a typo and was meant to be .035?
Thanks in advance for any help!
