Ok I purchased this boat with a 73 johnson 115 & got it runing and noticed the water pump was not working. I made sure the forward drive and reverse worked fine before taking lower unit off. Had a friend come help remove lower unit since I never have before. Took out all the bolts and it dropped about a inch and stoped. My friend pryed alil trying to seperate it and then I seen the linkage for reverse was holding it. Got the lower unit out changed water pump housing and impeller and Installed it back. Now something is n a bind I. The gears and selector. I put it In forward and goes pull iy back to neutal and its alil tight but will not go in reverse with out forcing it and if it does go in revese it will not come out unless I take the linkages loose and use a pry bar.... Any ideas what has happened or going on any info at all would be greatly appreciated
