1973 Crestliner with OMC 225hp - Major electrical issues

[73 Crestliner]

Had the boat out this week. A bare wire must have hit the steering cable from the dash. Whole electrical fryed to the instument panel and may need to replace steering cable. Probably going to rewire the entire boat since the wiring is vintage 73. Anyone know where to get full wiring diagrams?

your boat is no different that the gazillion other small recreational boats in that they are all pretty generic. Check the "Generic Boat Wiring Diagram" in the stickies at the very top of this forum (not this page).
