1973 65hp johnson piston to bore clearance

Hi all,

I picked up a 1973 65hp 3 cyl looper a few weeks ago.
(in a small state of disrepair). The manual is on my shopping list as I need to rewire the engine (if it gets that far), but I want to check some things before I spend to much on it

I was just wondering if anyone knows the piston to bore clearance.

Lets look at the easy stuff first. Get the cylinder measurements then we'll look at measuring the pistons. A cam ground & tapered piston can be very difficult to measure.

If the cylinders are out of spec we'll need to bore anyway.
