I just bought this outboard, main problem is the steering is stuck. It is stuck perfectly straight dead on which makes me wonder if there is a steering lock somewhere that me and the previous owner did not see? previous owner greased it, and wacked it pretty good a few times. Still stuck. Anyone have any experience with freeing this up? This is not a heavily corroded motor, looks to be used very little. Cant understand how it could be this stuck. Serial number 3449168.
Also, is there a t-stat in this motor? Its not pumping water, so I hope its just the pump.
