1972 8HP Chrysler Outboard

Does anyone have any information about haw this motor is cooled? Is it air cooled or water cooled? The motor seems to get very hot after running for only a short period of time. The outside case gets so hot that you can't touch it without getting burned..

Water cooled.DON"T run it until you replace the pump.You will cause severe damage.
It's an easy fix.
Fill out the profile.You might be close to someone who can help.J
