1972 4hp johnson prop problems

my shear pin went, so replaced it but notice the plastic sleave in the prop was worn.
does anyone have any idea were to buy a prop with a pin drive 3 blade that old or how to fix the plastic

Your motor has a bushing on the prop that can come loose. You can take your prop into your dealer. They can put a new bushing in for you.

is it the prop clutch, that you mean or just a bushing

The bushing is in the middle of the prop. It is either a round or splined peice that is press fited in there. you will have to take it to your dealer. I beleive it is around $40 to have it fixed. You could also get a good used prop.
