1971 Starcraft Islander 221 I/O

Hello All

I am in the process of restoring a 1971 Islander. What a great boat. I am changing from the tired 4 banger to a fresh 6 cylinder Chevy. All Parts are Mercruiser. What should I look out for as far as problems?? My boat is an Arizona original and has no corrosion. I also have a 1968 Starcraft Chieftan that I use at least once a week. It is such a pleasure to drive. I am told that I will loose interest in the Chieftan as soon as the Islander is running.

Are changing the motor out fur an inline 6 or a v6? Wheres the pics? I have a 1971 islander with a 140 hp 4 cylider.
